Shiny Kingdra Pokedoll

Kingdra has been one of my favourites since the G/S days! I had a super short pile minky I wanted to experiment with (and a new embroidery machine!) and thought a shiny Kingdra would be the perfect project. I did not anticipate the stretch of this fabric to be so unforgiving - this plush went through at least 10 different revisions until I got the pattern I wanted. I learned a lot in the process of making this doll from digitizing to experimenting with my new machine, and various other things that will help me improve my future plush. Also fins are fun to make - I should make more pokemon with fins.

Kingdra is ~7" tall.
