Description
Spinarak is entirely made of fimo clay, except I used black acrylic paint to get the stripes on his legs (and topped them off with some glaze). Wire for support as usual. He is about 3" tall, and has a leg span of just over that. 
I wasn't a huge fan of this little guy until I started using him in Heart Gold.. he's an Ariados now, but I think he was cuter when he looked like this, haha.
Very tempted to make an Ariados to complete the evolution chain.

Your work is seriously so clean. I don't know if people realize how hard it is to accomplish this level of sculpting in this material. You must work very delicately I imagine. Ha I'm too messy I couldn't sculpt in just polymer clay... i go through a crazy messy process and mostly sculpt in wax.
